A Stravinsky Movie
Well … Stravinsky and Coco Chanel. RTWT.
So I wonder: will this be yet another disappointing music movie?

The plot synopsis reads kinda hokey to me. It’s pretty well known that neither Stravinsky nor Diagaleff were devastated by that Paris premier. Stravinsky’s been quoted as saying the event — including the near-riot — “went just as he [Diagaleff] had wished”. Having an overly rowdy audience at your premiere, after all, most definitely counts as a “success” — especially in Paris!
I admit, I’ll probably want to see the film. I’m always hoping for another “musician” movie that seems to get it!

I suspect this is going to be a romance movie rather than a music movie, but I hope I’m wrong. We’ll see.
Ever doubtful ….
