Another item Father Christmas always seems to have with him is an English horn. (RTWT)
Do you think the writer meant “French horn”? I just can’t remember a Father Christmas holding an English horn before.

definitely french horn–it’s totally the Christmas-and-advertising instrument ; )

Yep. I have an aunt who once proudly presented me with a French horn ornament … she was just thrilled that she found my instrument! If I’m remembering correctly I just smiled and accepted it. (No point in correcting someone who never goes to anything I do, I figure. At least not my aunt!)
