Kenny G has forever ruined the Oboe for me. Such a beautiful instrument, and all I can picture when I hear it is his hair! *sigh*

This is the second time I’ve encountered someone who thought Kenny G plays oboe – the first time was from someone who had actually played the saxomaphone, believe it or not (I set him straight, and I wasn’t even playing oboe at the time). Well, ok, to be honest, for all I know he does play the oboe, but that’s not his main axe and I’m reasonably sure he’s never recorded anything on oboe.
In fact, I will go so far as to say I hope he’s never recorded anything on the oboe (and that is not meant as a derogatory statement about his musical ability).
