I also checked two other bocals and have that same issue. So I'm guessing the bocal isn't the answer, but of course maybe it is and all these bocals are no good ..? (2 Dallas and 1 Symer) In any case, I do have a reed that works for this weekend, and a backup that would get me through. I think I'm going to try a thinner shape and wind reeds a bit longer too.
