so, whilst messing with my broken oboe, i discovered the bottom of the case can come out. GUESS WHO JUST FOUND A NEW PLACE TO HIDE DRUGS?

i really hope no airport security people read that. it’s hard enough as it is.

I haven’t traveled with my oboe since 1974, so I haven’t had to deal with the trials and tribulations that are now happening. Is it as awful as I’ve read? Sigh.

Guess when I take my trip to NYC I’ll just leave the instruments at home.
