Woof! No wonder everybody that has a job worries about the folks that come behind. These guys have all the technical chops needed to sit in most of the available chairs at most auditions.
But, as my mentor used to say, “Old age and treachery will beat youth and skill every time”…

What a treat to have a student at that level. Forget talking about scales and how to parse a phrase. You get to talk Music!
