well, it does say professional-ish… non-professionals might just do it for fun! Especially if they like the band. After all, a lot of us (myself included) are actually paying to play in orchestras!
thought it does depend on how professional they assume professional-ish to be.

It would have to be someone who has some spare cash though, don’t you think … if they have to pay for travel expenses, that is. (I only skimmed it.)
