Dave Brubeck, jazz legend, dies at 91

I read about the loss here.

I had the privilege of working with the man a few times. He was always fun and gracious and really seemed so full of joy.

So sad. Nobody gets to go on forever, of course, but it’s still too soon. Worked with him once, also with sons Matt and Chris. A great loss to music.

His death hit me more than I expected … maybe because the few times I worked with him he was just so darn joyful … and what a fine musician!
