Just couldn’t resist putting this up … Yikes, that’s one high oboe part! I think I’d prefer to stick to the violin/viola version. (And the title isn’t really true, for those of you worried that Mozart really originally wrote this for oboe & bass oboe.)

There’s Always Room For Jello Bass Oboe!
I know it’s not the season for a Christmas carol, but isn’t there always room for a bit of bass oboe? And while I don’t usually post anything but my Sunday music until after 8:00 PM on Sundays, I think I can allow for this. Hope so, anyway! :-)
