So my survey of intruments porfessor says I really play the oboewell. Yeah that’s all good and nice but the Oboe still kick rocks!! It takes to much breath support to play that thing!!! I need that breath to sing!!!
Functional oboe + decent reed = chapped lips and satisfied me :) Happy to be back on the oboe train.

Any day you get to perform Bach is a good day. “Wachet Auf” tonight and tomorrow aftermoon in the UM theater. Not only is the singing wonderful, there are oboe and violin passages to die for.

All of this snoring… it sounds like [name here] and [name here] fell asleep with a tuba and an oboe taped to their lips… it literally sounds like two drunken hobos sat down in the brass section of an orchestra and started trying to play the opening music to Star Wars… it sounds like they’re trying to make blugrass music and I’ve got a jug blowing band in here… but its okay because theyre sick.

my neighbors decided that practicing a clarinet in the dorms would be a fun idea. so i decided its time to whip out my oboe :)
