REED MAKING
Reed Making is a challenge. At least it is for me! I continue to plug away, but if I find a reed maker I like, I’ll happily skip the carving and move on to the playing.
But while I continue to search for good reed makers (and I do have a few I really like!) I will labor on.
My reed making tutorial begins after the shaping process. It is directed at beginning reed makers, as it’s best to begin with gouged, shaped and folded cane when you are just starting out.
